There's something really comforting about eating Oyakodon. It might be the tender chicken, or the slightly sweet beaten eggs. Or that I learned this recipe from a dog. The thing is: I love Oyakodon. It's delicious, filling and japanese - like most of my favorite food. It's also super easy to make. I got a great recipe from Cooking with Dog -best Japanese cooking show ever- but made a few changes. I think my version of Oyakodon is sweeter and juicier than the one in the video. That's why I'm sharing what I've learned by preparing this dish a dozen times! (Since May).
